Location : Kuching & remote Sarawak, Malaysia – (priorities to Sarawakian/ Malaysian candidates)
Contract basis : Daily/ Monthly
Minimum requirements as below:
1. Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 20 years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry specializing in either Drilling, Completions or workovers.
3. Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Drilling Superintendent (combined offshore and onshore)
4. Must have valid IWCF Level 4
5. Must have experience as drilling supervisor for at least 5 years with a focus on onshore and offshore projects.
6. Possess experience / knowledge in wells / HSE drilling, well control methods, drilling operations (cementing, mud, directional drilling, fishing, well abandonment, rig move), and etc.
7. Experienced / Involved in drilling rig design & selection.
8. Proficient in geomechanics, formation evaluation, and wellbore stability analysis.
9. Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify opportunities, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
