Location : Kuching & remote Sarawak, Malaysia – (priorities to Sarawakian/ Malaysian candidates)
Contract basis : Daily/ Monthly
Minimum requirements as below:
1. Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 15 years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry specializing in either Drilling, Completions or workovers.
3. Must have valid IWCF Level 4
4. Must have minimum 5 years working experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor with both offshore and onshore drilling operations.
5. Possess experience / knowledge in wells / HSE drilling, well control methods, drilling operations (cementing, mud, directional drilling, drilling fluid, fishing, well abandonment, rig move), rigless operation.
6. Possess advanced drilling experience such as Lean Profile, Underbalance Drilling, HPHT Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, Extended Reach Drilling, Wellbore Stability.
7. Involved in review and understand the Basis of Design, Drilling and Completion Programmes as well as any other relevant programmes.
8. Must be experienced in supervising day-to-day drilling activities and be knowledgeable of offshore /onshore drilling specifics.
9. Preferably have previous experience of operations onshore/offshore Malaysia.
