Location : Kuching & remote Sarawak, Malaysia – (priorities to Sarawakian/ Malaysian candidates)
Contract basis : Daily/ Monthly
Minimum requirements as below:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics from a recognized institution.
2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant Petroleum Geoscience experience.
3. Experienced as Wellsite Geologist/Operation Geologist with at least 5 years’ experience.
4. Involved in real time drilling monitoring and able to perform real time formation evaluation.
5. Experienced in working in different depositional settings involving different types of reservoirs.
6. Experienced in describing the drilling cuttings, samples, cores, and fluids.
7. Knowledge in data correlation, gas levels, and cuttings characteristics and able to perform real time adjustments.
